DAY 1: Welcome to Ukraine!

Pick up at the airport and have brunch at one of the authentic Kyiv's restaurant with tasty Ukrainian food. Then you will go to Poltava and have the unique possibility to be involved in the history of the city and its picturesque places. You will know its secrets and gladden your sight. During this excursion you will visit the historical part of the city: Round square and the Glory Monument – one of the main sights of Poltava, White rotunda and monument of Poltava`s Galushka, will visit the museum-place of Kotlyarevsky – a famous Ukrainian writer, will see many historical monuments, related to Poltava Battle history, will have the possibility to visit the museum of Poltava Battle History and, at will, visit Khrestovozdvizhenskiy monastery that was founded in 1650. On the territory of this monastery you will see 7-domed church – the only one in Ukraine that exists till today.


DAY 2: Day in Dykanka and celebration

You will get the unique possibility to see many architectural monuments, samples of folk creative work and home craft. During this excursion you’ll visit picturesque places, depicted in the works of a great Ukrainian prose writer Nikolay Gogol, will know more about life and creative work of this outstanding person. His stories’ characters will revive in the historical and cultural complex “The evenings in the hamlet near “Dikanka”. One part of the excursion will be held in Dikanka landscape park and will be continued in Gogol Museum – place in Vasilievka village.

By Dikanka village, at will, you will have the possibility to visit a very cosy cafe in Ukrainian style where you may order lunch or dinner, choosing the dishes of Ukrainian cuisine
Ivana Kupala Day is an ancient pagan holiday observed in Slavic countries, celebrating the summer solstice. Traditionally the festive gatherings took place every year on July 6th in honor of the god of fire. For many centuries light and fire have been the symbols of Kupala. On this night people jump over bonfires and swim in rivers to burn and wash out all the bad. They sing and dance in a ring around bonfires, make wreaths out of leaves and flowers, girls wear them on their heads and let the wreaths float on water to tell their fortune. Ivana Kupala is an unforgettable cultural event worth experiencing.


DAY 3: Getting back to Kyiv and sightseeing

During our panoramic city tour we will show you Kiev the capital of Ukraine and the cradle of Eastern Slavonic states of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. It is a beautiful city with its centuries-old history and rich culture. The tour includes a visit to Vladimir 's Cathedral the most prominent sacral painting complex of the late 19th century decorated by world-famous artists. You will see magnificent mosaics and frescoes at St. Sophia Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in the Eastern Slavonic states built in the beginning of the 11th c. to glorify the victory of Prince Yaroslav the Wise over the Pecheneg tribes. You will enjoy amazing views of two golden-domed monastery complexes while walking through Sophiiska and Mykhailivska Squares. The tour continues to St. Andrew's Church, a striking piece of baroque architecture of the 18th c. built according to the designs of well-known architect B. Rastrelli on the top of Vladimir's Hill. Andriivskyj Uzviz (Descent) that starts from St. Andrew's Church will impress you with its unique atmosphere. It is a short street meandering down through luxuriant vegetation of Vladimir's Hill to the picturesque Podil. Numerous art galleries and shops of folk and applied art make this romantic street the cultural center of Kiev.
